North Korean soldiers, who joined their Russian allies in the battle against Ukrainian forces, have been pulled off the front lines after suffering heavy casualties. This information was confirmed by Ukrainian and U.S. officials.
The North Korean troops were sent to bolster Russian forces trying to push back a Ukrainian offensive inside Russia's borders. However, they have not been seen at the front for about two weeks.
The arrival of around 11,000 North Korean troops in Russia in November caused alarm in Ukraine and among its allies in the West. They feared that their deployment signaled a significant escalation in the nearly 3-year-old war. However, in just three months, the North Korean ranks have diminished by half, according to Gen. Oleksandr Syrsky, Ukraine's top military commander.

Heavy casualties for North Korea means they won't be able to sustain their presence. A win for global peace!

With such high casualties, it's clear these troops weren't well-prepared or equipped for combat.

This just shows how desperate Russia has become, relying on North Korea for support. Pathetic!

This is what happens when you ally with tyrants. Russia and North Korea deserve each other.
