Semi-Finals Set for ICC Women's U19 T20 World Cup 2025 in Kuala Lumpur

The ICC Women's U19 T20 World Cup 2025 has unveiled its semi-final matchups, featuring India's defense of their title against England. Scheduled for Friday at Bayuemas Oval in Kuala Lumpur, the first match will pit South Africa against Australia, starting at 10:30 AM local time, followed by the India-England clash at 2:30 PM local time.

In the group stages, India and South Africa both emerged as unbeaten teams. India topped Group 1 with a perfect record of four victories, accumulating eight points, while South Africa secured seven points with three wins and one no-result. Australia finished second in Group 1, managing three wins and a loss for a total of six points, whereas England also secured six points but had two wins and two no-results.

Individual performances have been outstanding, with Indian player GV Trisha leading the tournament with 230 runs over five matches at an impressive average of 76.66, featuring a century with a top score of 110. Additionally, Vaishnavi Sharma, another standout from India, has claimed the title of top wicket-taker, achieving 12 dismissals in four games at an average of 2.33, including exceptional figures of 5 for 5.
