A man named Mark Roher was accused of attacking a father at a wedding buffet in Florida. The incident occurred on January 18th at the Boca Lago Country Club.
According to reports, Roher was waiting in line at the prime rib carving station when two young girls cut in front of him. This upset Roher, and he confronted the girls' father about it.
The father attempted to ignore Roher, but Roher then struck the victim in the head with a dinner plate. This sparked a large brawl between the guests.
The victim told police that he was trying to remove himself from the situation when Roher confronted him. He was struck as he turned away.
An employee at the country club reported that more plates were shattered during the ensuing brawl.
Roher admitted to pushing the father but denied hitting him with the plate. He also claimed that he was injured by multiple people who tried to pull him away.
Roher was arrested and charged with aggravated battery with a deadly weapon.
