BJP MP Manoj Tiwari Campaigns in Shiv Vihar for Upcoming Delhi Elections

Manoj Tiwari, a Member of Parliament from the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), recently engaged in an election campaign in Shiv Vihar, calling upon the local populace to cast their votes for Mohan Singh Bisht, the party's designated candidate. He underscored the vital role that Mustafabad would play in the BJP’s pursuit of forming the next Delhi government, suggesting that its support is essential.

In his statements to ANI, Tiwari illustrated the ongoing rally as a clear indication of Mustafabad's potential to secure a significant seat for the BJP in Delhi's forthcoming elections. He appealed to citizens to take advantage of the benefits from policies introduced by Prime Minister Narendra Modi by ensuring Bisht's victory, drawing a strong comparison to the recent electoral outcomes in Maharashtra. Additionally, BJP leader Shazia Ilmi expressed confidence that the electorate in Delhi would decisively move away from support for Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) leader Arvind Kejriwal, creating an opportunity for the BJP to regain authority over the assembly.

The Delhi assembly elections are scheduled for February 5, with the vote counting planned for February 8. This election sees a total of 699 candidates vying for 70 seats, amidst a backdrop where the Congress party has seen a decline after holding power for 15 years and the AAP has dominated recent elections, winning a significant majority in the last two assembly contests while the BJP secured minimal representation.
