The World Future Energy Summit 2025 has officially begun at the ADNEC Centre in Abu Dhabi, organized by the Abu Dhabi Future Energy Company known as Masdar. This summit, part of the Abu Dhabi Sustainability Week (ADSW), spans three days and is expected to facilitate significant global cooperation and innovation in the fields of energy transition and circular economic practices.
Drawing in key figures, the summit will host 13 heads of state and over 140 government officials alongside influential business and technology leaders. The objective is to accelerate socio-economic development and technological advances, unlocking what could potentially transform economies worth $10 trillion.
With 34 specialized sessions planned, the summit boasts more than 70 experts who will engage in discussions aimed at promoting sustainable development and generating inclusive actions. A focal point will be the integration of advanced technologies like artificial intelligence (AI) and human creativity to foster a sustainable and prosperous future.
Situated in a region actively seeking energy diversification, with an emphasis on renewable options like solar energy, the summit anticipates drawing over 30,000 participants including policymakers, industry professionals, and sustainability proponents from around the world.
The event will highlight innovations in renewable energy, climate technology, green financing, sustainable urban development, and circular economic practices. With over 400 exhibitors showcasing cutting-edge solutions in solar energy, electric mobility, clean energy, water management, and waste reduction, the summit promises numerous interactive exhibits and networking experiences.
Additionally, attendees can look forward to seven dedicated conference streams that will delve deeply into various aspects of the energy ecosystem, providing comprehensive insights into the latest trends affecting key areas such as Solar & Clean Energy, Sustainable Cities, EcoWASTE management, Green Finance, and pathways towards achieving the 1.5 °C climate goal.
