Juventus Held to a Draw by Club Brugge in Lackluster Champions League Clash
Juventus were held to a disappointing 0-0 draw by Belgian champions Club Brugge in a lackluster Champions League clash on Tuesday. The result leaves Juve languishing in 14th place in the table with 12 points, having drawn over half of their 30 games in all competitions this season.
Brugge, meanwhile, sit just one point behind in 18th place. Both teams will need to secure victories in their final group stage matches to have any chance of reaching the knockout phase playoffs.
The first half of the match was a dull affair, with both sides struggling to create any clear-cut chances. The tempo increased slightly after the restart, with Brugge coming closest to breaking the deadlock through Ferran Jutgla, whose shot flew just wide of the post.
Juventus coach Thiago Motta made changes in the 66th minute, but they failed to spark any significant improvement in his team's performance. Despite having more possession, Juve struggled to create clear opportunities, and the only shot on target in the entire match came from Manuel Locatelli, which was saved by Brugge goalkeeper Simon Mignolet.
The result means that Juventus have now won only three of their last four meetings with Club Brugge, including two victories in the 2005-06 group stage. The Belgian champions, meanwhile, remain unbeaten in all competitions since their 3-1 loss at AC Milan in late October.

🥱 Locatelli was the only one who showed any fight tonight. The rest? Invisible! 🥱

😠I'm starting to lose hope. Will Juventus ever be the dominant force they once were? ðŸ˜

💯 One point is better than none. We'll learn from this and improve for the next game.
