Pastor Robert Jeffress Expresses Gratitude for Trump's Re-election and Hope for America's Future
In an interview with Fox News Digital, Pastor Robert Jeffress of First Baptist Church of Dallas, Texas, expressed his gratitude to God for President Donald Trump's re-election and his hope for the future of the country.
Jeffress believes that most evangelicals, conservative Catholics, and conservative Jews view Trump's re-election with a sense of relief and gratitude to God. He feels that the country has been in a downward spiral for the past four years due to its departure from its Judeo-Christian foundation. He believes that Trump's re-election represents God giving America another chance to reverse this trend.
Jeffress hopes that all Americans will heed the Bible and pray for those in authority, including President Trump. He believes that if Trump wins in his agenda, all of America will win, not just Republicans.
Jeffress also spoke about the importance of recognizing struggles and challenges, such as the recent fires in Los Angeles. He believes that in times of tragedy, it's natural to ask why these things happen. However, he suggests that the real question we should be asking is who is in control of a world that seems out of control.
Jeffress shared an example from his own life to illustrate this point. He and his wife were driving in the darkness during a rainstorm when their headlights malfunctioned. They were unable to see anything, but they noticed an 18-wheeler behind them. They slowed down and allowed the truck to pass, and then followed its taillights into the nearest town.
He is loving, sovereign, and powerful. He believes that God is close to the brokenhearted, that He is in control, and that He can take the worst things that happen to us and use them for our own good.
Jeffress is the senior pastor of his 16,000-member church in Dallas and his daily radio program, "Pathway to Victory," is heard on more than 1,400 stations nationwide. His weekly television program is seen in 195 countries around the world. He is the author of nearly 30 books.

It’s unbelievable that a pastor would endorse someone like Trump; it’s hypocrisy at its finest.
