Princess Kate made headlines this week with her return to The Royal Marsden Hospital in Chelsea, London. The Princess of Wales, 43, visited the hospital on Tuesday to thank staff who cared for her during her chemotherapy treatment last year. During the visit, the mother of three also met with patients undergoing treatment, offering words of encouragement and support.
This visit was not the princess's first return to the hospital in recent months. A source revealed that the future Queen, who entered through a back entrance, brought staff festive gifts and treats, including biscuits. The duration of the visit and whether her husband Prince William, 42, was present remain unknown.
This news comes just days after the princess's first public engagement of the year, also at The Royal Marsden Hospital. Following the visit, the princess confirmed she was now in remission and looking forward to the year ahead. It was also confirmed that the hospital was where Kate received treatment, having entered through a side door for her appointments last year. She is now joint patron of The Royal Marsden alongside Prince William.
In an Instagram post following her Tuesday visit, the princess expressed her gratitude to The Royal Marsden for their care during the past year. She also acknowledged the support she and Prince William received during their journey. The princess emphasized her hope that her new role as Joint Patron will contribute to saving lives and improving the experience of those impacted by cancer.
While now in remission, the princess acknowledged the time needed to adjust to a new normal following a cancer diagnosis. She expressed her anticipation for a fulfilling year ahead, filled with much to look forward to. The princess concluded by thanking everyone for their continued support.

Visiting and taking a few pictures won’t solve the real problems in healthcare.

Her visits feel staged more than sincere. Can't we just have a normal person visit instead?

I admire her for using her platform to raise awareness about cancer treatment. Well done, Princess Kate!

This seems more about her royal duties than actual compassion for patients.

I'm tired of hearing about royals when so many everyday people are battling the same issues.
