The Horrific Reality of Child Sexual Exploitation in Britain
Across our nation, in at least 50 towns, gangs of men have committed unspeakable acts of violence against children. These children have been subjected to torture and rape, acts so depraved and inhumane that their description would be an insult to their suffering.
The questions surrounding these crimes are numerous and deeply disturbing. How many men were involved? Where did they come from? What punishments have they faced? How many have been arrested, imprisoned, or deported? And how many continue to live among their victims, posing a constant threat?
Equally concerning is the role of the authorities. What did they know, and when did they know it? What actions did they take to protect these vulnerable children? How did fear of being labelled racist or inflaming tensions prevent intervention and rescue? Would such inaction be tolerated today? And perhaps most disturbingly, how is it possible that no one has been held accountable for covering up these systematic rapes?
The most chilling question of all is whether this horrific abuse continues. Are there children right now, somewhere in Britain, being subjected to sexual torture by gangs who view them as subhuman? This possibility haunts our collective conscience.
We desperately need answers to these questions, yet we are met with silence or incomplete information. The government's proposed solution of five local inquiries is woefully inadequate. These inquiries lack the legal power to summon witnesses or evidence, and they will be conducted by the very local authorities accused of complicity in these crimes. Additionally, they cannot address crucial issues like the deportation of foreign perpetrators.
This is why the Conservatives have consistently called for a national inquiry. We have forced a vote in Parliament demanding the government take action, and we will continue to do so. Even Labour politicians from the most affected areas support a national inquiry. This is not a partisan issue; it is a matter of protecting our most vulnerable citizens.
The British state has failed these children miserably. Nothing, not even the fear of causing offense, is more important than protecting them now. This must be our top priority. We urge the Prime Minister to finally take action and establish a national inquiry to uncover the truth, deliver justice to the victims, and prevent further suffering.

We can't let the fear of causing offense prevent us from protecting these vulnerable children. Their safety is paramount.

Unforgivable! This abuse cannot be tolerated. We need action now, not excuses.
