Despite numerous opportunities to extend their lead, including a missed chance from Kingsley Coman, Bayern found themselves facing a late scare when Wolfsburg’s Amoura netted his second goal in the 88th minute. Head coach Vincent Kompany expressed satisfaction with the result, emphasizing the importance of maintaining their winning streak as they prepare for the upcoming Champions League match against Feyenoord. With this victory, Bayern gained a total of 45 points, further distancing themselves from second-place Bayer Leverkusen, who were set to play later in the day. Wolfsburg remains in seventh place with 27 points.
