NCP-SCP MP Supriya Sule Condemns the Incident

NCP-SCP MP Supriya Sule has condemned the attack on actor Saif Ali Khan, calling it "extremely worrying." She expressed concern for the family's safety and confirmed that Saif Ali Khan received stitches and is currently hospitalized in stable condition.

Sule spoke to the Mumbai Commissioner and local police, who assured her that the entire police force is deployed to apprehend the attacker as soon as possible. She also highlighted the rising crime rate in Maharashtra and urged the police to investigate potential links between the attack on Saif Ali Khan and other recent incidents, including the murder of Baba Siddique two months prior.

Mumbai Police Investigate Attack on Saif Ali Khan

Mumbai police have registered an FIR regarding the attack and recorded the statement of the complainant, Saif Ali Khan's maid. The complaint alleges that the attacker demanded one crore rupees from the family.

According to the maid's statement, the intruder attacked her with a hexa blade, injuring both her hands. He then approached Saif Ali Khan's son and subsequently attacked the actor with a wooden object and a hexa blade, causing injuries to his neck, shoulder, wrist, elbow, and back.

The statement further details the timeline of the incident, mentioning that it occurred at 2 AM on January 16th. The maid noticed a shadow at the bathroom door and was confronted by the attacker upon investigating.

Police Search for Attacker

The police have formed 20 teams to search for the accused and released a picture of the suspect. The individual is seen wearing a bright-coloured cloth around his neck and walking down the stairs.

The investigation is ongoing, and the police are working to apprehend the attacker and bring justice to Saif Ali Khan and his family.
