A deadly explosion rocked Pakistan's southwestern Balochistan province on Saturday, claiming the lives of at least four people and injuring 32 others. The incident occurred in Turbat district, where a convoy was targeted and a bus within it was struck during the attack.
Local officials, speaking on condition of anonymity, confirmed the details to Xinhua. A senior police officer and his family members were among the injured and were rushed to a nearby hospital for treatment.
The banned Balochistan Liberation Army claimed responsibility for the attack in a social media post. However, Pakistani authorities have yet to officially confirm the attack or the group's involvement.
The explosion has cast a shadow over the already volatile region, where separatist groups have been engaged in a long-running insurgency against the Pakistani government. The attack has also raised concerns about the security situation in the province, which borders Iran and Afghanistan.

Why are we still allowing these groups to operate? It shows a complete failure of governance.
