A Star-Studded Lineup, Aussie Hopes Abound, and Doubles Action Begins

A Star-Studded Lineup

The Australian Open is in full swing, and Day Four promises to be another exciting day of tennis action. World number one Aryna Sabalenka will kick off the day's play on Rod Laver Arena, followed by Novak Djokovic, Coco Gauff, and Alexander Zverev.

There are plenty of Australians in action as well, with Thanasi Kokkinakis, James Duckworth, Jordan Thompson, Aleksandar Vukic, Talia Gibson, and Ajla Tomljanovic all taking to the court.

Sabalenka is the top seed in the women's singles draw and is looking to win her second consecutive Australian Open title. Bouzas Maneiro is a talented young player who has already had some impressive wins this year.

Djokovic is aiming for a record-extending 10th Australian Open title. Couacaud is a French qualifier who has never played in the main draw of a Grand Slam tournament before.

This is a rematch of the 2021 US Open final, which Gauff won. Both players are young and talented, and this match is sure to be a close one.

Zverev is a former world number two who is looking to return to form after a difficult year. Mmoh is an American qualifier who has already upset one seeded player in the tournament.

Kokkinakis is a popular Australian player who is known for his big serve and powerful forehand. Draper is a young British player who is on the rise.

Tomljanovic is an Australian player who has reached the quarterfinals of the Australian Open twice before. Shnaider is a young Russian player who is making her Grand Slam main draw debut.

Gibson is an Australian wildcard who is playing in her first Grand Slam tournament. Badosa is a former world number two who is looking to regain her form.

In addition to the singles matches, the doubles action also gets underway on Day Four. There are several exciting matches to watch, including the men's doubles match between Nick Kyrgios and Thanasi Kokkinakis.

Be sure to stay tuned to the Australian Open website and social media channels for all the latest news and updates.

Are we really hyping up Kokkinakis? He hasn’t done anything significant recently.

Why should we care about players like Bouzas Maneiro who have yet to prove themselves?
