Organisers for Eason Chan's Fears And Dreams tour announced on January 10 that they are cancelling the upcoming concert in Bangkok, which was slated for February 22 at the Impact Arena. This decision stems from concerns regarding the safety of Chinese citizens and concertgoers traveling to Thailand, despite the event having already sold out.
In a message posted on Weibo, the team emphasized their dedication to providing a remarkable experience for fans, stating that they have been working hard towards this goal. However, they prioritized the safety of the audience above all else in light of the recent issues. As a result, they have chosen to cancel the show to ensure the well-being of all involved. Additionally, those who purchased tickets will receive a full refund within ten working days following this announcement.

I feel like in the name of safety, they are robbing us of joy. Disappointed does not even begin to describe it.
The Truth
I completely support the decision. It’s better to be cautious than to risk anyone’s safety.

I get that safety matters, but the excitement of seeing Eason live is irreplaceable. I wish they would rethink this.

They should have thought this through before announcing the concert. It’s not fair to fans who planned to attend.

I was so excited about this concert! I don’t think safety issues should interfere with people's enjoyment.
