FedEx Driver Robbed in Harvard, Massachusetts
A FedEx driver was robbed at gunpoint in Harvard, Massachusetts, on Friday afternoon. The incident occurred around 12:43 p.m. when the driver was making a delivery at a residence.
According to the Harvard Police Department, two masked men approached the driver from behind as he exited his van. One of the men snatched the package from the driver's hands, while the other allegedly made verbal threats, implying they were armed.
Surveillance footage captured the moment the package was taken. While no firearm is visible in the footage, police believe the suspects were targeting the specific delivery. A neighbor reported seeing the suspects' vehicle parked nearby for several hours before the robbery.
Following the robbery, the suspects fled the scene in a white Acura TLX with dark tinted windows and a partial Connecticut license plate bearing the letters "BN."
A multi-state police chase ensued, ending near Providence, Rhode Island. The suspects' vehicle crashed on Interstate 95 near Elmwood Avenue. One person was injured in the crash and remained with the vehicle, while the other three fled the scene. The three individuals who fled were captured a short time later.
The person who remained at the crash site was taken to a local hospital. Police are investigating the incident and searching for any firearms that may have been discarded during the pursuit.
