Megan Thee Stallion Secures Restraining Order Against Tory Lanez Until 2030

A Los Angeles Superior Court judge has recently approved a restraining order for Megan Thee Stallion, extending it until early 2030. This decision comes after Megan accused Tory Lanez of attempting to intimidate her from prison through various representatives while he serves a 10-year sentence for shooting her in the feet. The protective order was issued following a court hearing, during which it was determined that Megan's legal team provided sufficient evidence to justify the request.

Lanez's attorney contested the granting of the restraining order by pointing out that his client's imprisonment means there should be no physical or direct threat to Megan. However, records submitted in the court indicated that Lanez was allegedly orchestrating online harassment, including attacks on Megan’s credibility. Previous court proceedings resulted in Lanez being found guilty of multiple felonies related to the shooting incident, and his team’s motion for a new trial has been denied as they pursue an appeal.
