The Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) have arrested three individuals in connection with a fatal fire that occurred in Huron Shores, Ontario, two years ago. The fire, which was deemed suspicious, claimed the life of 51-year-old Dwayne Kozuch.
Two suspects, both 28 years old and from Blind River, Ontario, have been charged with first-degree murder, arson disregarding human life, and arson damaging property. They remain in custody and are scheduled to appear in an Elliot Lake, Ontario, court next month.
A third suspect, a 42-year-old from Blind River, has been charged with accessory after the fact to murder and also faces the same two arson charges. They are currently in custody and were scheduled to appear in court on Friday.
The OPP continues to investigate the incident and has not released any further information about the suspects or the motive behind the crime.
