Furthermore, investigators are closely monitoring the misuse of technologies like artificial intelligence that facilitate these deceptive practices.

Troll farms often deploy automated accounts to post comments en masse, thereby manipulating trending topics and rankings. Authorities have observed software designed to create artificial traffic and even AI writing tools that enable the mass production of misleading content. In response to this growing issue, regulators have advised online platforms to rigorously manage and eliminate illegal accounts and to improve their defenses against such manipulative tactics.

The Chinese cyberspace administration is committed to maintaining relentless pressure on troll farms, implementing strict penalties for their operation, and ensuring their activities do not revive.
