Tottenham Hotspur has officially acquired goalkeeper Antonin Kinsky, who joins the team from Slavia Prague on a deal that extends until 2031. Reports from British media suggest that the transfer fee is approximately £12.5 million ($15.5 million). However, Kinsky’s move is contingent upon obtaining a work permit and the necessary international clearances.
This new signing provides Spurs manager Ange Postecoglou with more choices in the goalkeeping department, especially since first-choice goalkeeper Guglielmo Vicario is recovering from surgery on a broken ankle, which will keep him out for a significant period. With the team currently struggling in the Premier League, sitting in 12th place with 24 points from 20 matches, the addition of Kinsky may help bolster their performance as they trail 21 points behind league leaders Liverpool.
