Dai Bing Takes on New Role as Chinese Ambassador to South Korea

Dai Bing, previously China's deputy permanent representative to the United Nations, has assumed his new post as the Chinese ambassador to South Korea. This appointment marks a significant step in his diplomatic career, leveraging his extensive experience in both African affairs and the United Nations.

Dai's background in these pivotal roles equips him with the necessary diplomatic expertise, problem-solving skills, and interpersonal qualities to excel in his new role. As Da Zhigang, director of the Institute of Northeast Asian Studies at Heilongjiang Provincial Academy of Social Sciences, aptly stated, Dai's experience makes him well-suited for the ambassadorship.

Upon his arrival in South Korea, Dai delivered a written speech at Gimpo International Airport, outlining his commitment to upholding the principles of maintaining the original intention of establishing diplomatic relations, strengthening friendly neighborly ties, and pursuing mutual benefit and win-win cooperation. He emphasized his dedication to working with South Korea to promote the healthy, stable, and positive development of the China-South Korea strategic partnership.
