The Sentry Tournament at Kapalua
The Plantation Course at Kapalua, Maui, Hawaii, will host the 27th edition of The Sentry Tournament, a prestigious event on the PGA Tour. This year's field boasts a strong lineup of players, including winners from the previous season, top 50 finishers in the FedEx Cup standings, and players ranked 51-60 through the FedEx Cup Fall.
Among the notable players participating are Xander Schauffele, the 2019 champion, and Justin Thomas, a two-time winner of the event. Collin Morikawa, seeking his first victory since 2023, will also be vying for the title.
Several players are making headlines for reasons beyond their game. Scottie Scheffler withdrew due to hand surgery, while Viktor Hovland remains in the field despite a suspected broken toe. Kevin Kisner aims to become the first player since Geoff Ogilvy in 2009-10 to successfully defend his title at The Sentry.
Despite their qualifications, Rory McIlroy, Tommy Fleetwood, and Shane Lowry will not be competing this week.
With a strong field and intriguing storylines, The Sentry Tournament promises an exciting week of golf action.

The Plantation Course is overrated. Can we get a venue that offers a more challenging layout?

No Rory McIlroy? What’s the point of watching? It’s just not the same without him in the mix.

I'm tired of seeing the same players dominate the field every year. It's time for some fresh faces!

Another year, another trophy for the same group of golfers. Boring!

Why does The Sentry Tournament get so much hype? Golf is dull and these events just drag on.
