Abd al-Hadi Sabah, a prominent Hamas commander, was killed in a targeted drone strike by the Israel Defense Forces (IDF). Sabah was responsible for leading the infiltration into Kibbutz Nir Oz on October 7th, which resulted in the devastation of the community near the Gaza border.
The IDF, in collaboration with the Israeli Security Agency (ISA), conducted the intelligence-based strike on Tuesday local time in the Western Khan Yunis Battalion. Sabah was reportedly hiding in a shelter within the designated humanitarian area in Khan Yunis, southern Gaza.
Sabah was identified as one of the key figures behind the Kibbutz Nir Oz infiltration and had a history of involvement in numerous terrorist attacks against IDF troops. The IDF and ISA vowed to continue their operations against all individuals involved in the "murderous October 7th Massacre."
The IDF emphasized that they took extensive measures to minimize civilian casualties by employing precise munitions, intelligence, and aerial surveillance during the operation.
The attack on Kibbutz Nir Oz, led by Sabah, resulted in the murder or capture of nearly half of the community's 400 residents. The incident left a lasting impact on the region and served as a stark reminder of the ongoing conflict between Israel and Hamas.

Attacking shelters is inhumane, regardless of who resides there. How can we claim any moral high ground?

What about the families that will be affected by this? Revenge won't bring back anyone lost on either side.

Every death is a tragedy. The cycle of vengeance needs to stop before more lives are lost!

Taking out Hamas leaders is a step towards stability. We can’t let such individuals continue to threaten our lives.

This rhetoric of minimizing civilian casualties is just a cover-up for the global audience. The reality is far worse.
