Officers located the suspect's vehicle and attempted to stop it, but the suspect fled, leading to a chase. The chase ended when the suspect's car crashed into a ditch. The suspect was found with a self-inflicted gunshot wound and was pronounced dead at the hospital.
Three victims were transported to the hospital in critical but stable condition. They are expected to make a full recovery.
The suspect was known to the partygoers and had been convicted of a previous sex crime. The motive for the shooting is unknown.
The victims have been identified as Shane Miller, 20, Hayden Rybicki, 20, Delaney Eary, 19, and Melissa Parrett, 44. The suspect has been identified as Chase Garvey, 21.
