Chilean Pavilion Showcases Special Products at China Fisheries and Seafood Expo (CFSE)

The Chilean Pavilion participated in the 26th China Fisheries and Seafood Expo (CFSE) in Qingdao, China, marking its first offline appearance since the pandemic. This event was attended by Ambassador of Chile to China Mauricio Hurtado and Natalia Cortes, Trade Commissioner of ProChile Beijing. During the expo, Cortes highlighted the nutritional value, safety, and international certifications of Chilean seafood. She also emphasized Chile's annual participation in the CFSE and expressed eagerness for attendees to experience Chilean cuisine, wines, and culture. The Chilean Pavilion, consisting of 13 Chilean seafood enterprises, drew significant interest at the expo, marking the first in-person participation of Chilean companies in the post-COVID era. Their goal was to engage with the Chinese market, gain insights into local market trends, and enhance the quality of their products and services.
