The Institute of Company Secretaries of India (ICSI) has announced that the admit cards for the November session of the Company Secretary Executive Entrance Test (CSEET) are now available. Those who have registered for the program should head to the institute's official website to download their admit cards by entering their CSEET registration number and date of birth.
Business Communication, Legal Aptitude and Logical Reasoning, Economic and Business Environment, along with Current Affairs and Quantitative Aptitude. Candidates will take the exam in a Remote Proctored Mode across India, monitored by online invigilators to ensure the integrity of the process.
To pass the CSEET, students must achieve an overall aggregate of at least 50 percent, in addition to obtaining a minimum of 40 percent on each individual paper. Importantly, the exam does not incorporate negative marking for incorrect answers. ICSI has specified that calculators, pens, pencils, and any form of paper or notebooks are prohibited during the examination.
As for eligibility, students who have completed their class 12 education or are currently appearing for their class 12 exams may register for the test. Certain candidates are exempt from taking the entrance exam; these include individuals who have successfully completed the foundation level of ICSI, those who have passed the final exams from the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India or the Institute of Cost Accountants of India, as well as graduates with a minimum of 50 percent marks and postgraduates. These exempt candidates can directly enroll in the CS Executive Programme. The CSEET is held four times a year, occurring in January, May, July, and November.
