The Fuzhou-Matsu City Pass has recently expanded its reach to the financial sector, offering residents of Matsu, Taiwan, greater ease in accessing personal loans and making online payments. Lin Jianxiong, a resident of Matsu, was among the first to register for the new financial version of the pass. He expressed his appreciation for the added convenience, particularly for those like him who work or live in Fuzhou.

The new pass provides access to a comprehensive range of financial services, including personal loans, currency exchange, salary remittances, transfers and withdrawals, online payments, and other essential services. This seamless access aims to facilitate smoother everyday life for Matsu residents in Fuzhou.

The initiative aligns with the "same-city living circle" concept, which promotes deeper ties between Fuzhou and Matsu through shared services and benefits. This aligns with policy goals outlined by officials in September 2022, encouraging closer collaboration between the two regions.

The recent expansion builds upon previous measures implemented by Fuzhou, including discount policies across various aspects of life such as transportation, education, and housing. These measures, along with the expansion into the financial sector, demonstrate Fuzhou's commitment to making life easier for Matsu residents living and working in the city.

Lin Jianxiong, who has worked in Fuzhou's textile export trade for ten years, expressed his satisfaction with the new card, highlighting the benefits it brings both in terms of financial convenience and lifestyle improvements.
