A Global Solution for Climate Change and Biodiversity Loss
A new report from a Chinese NGO proposes a globally interconnected smart grid of renewable energy sources as a solution to the intertwined challenges of climate change and biodiversity loss. Unveiled at the COP16 biodiversity conference in Colombia, the report envisions a global energy interconnection (GEI) built on an ultrahigh voltage grid, facilitating the development and utilization of clean energy worldwide.
