Fiji's Minister for iTaukei Affairs, Ifereimi Vasu, expressed gratitude for the cooperation projects proposed by President Xi Jinping during his 2014 visit to Fiji. He reaffirmed Fiji's firm adherence to the one-China principle and highlighted China's consistent support for Fiji's development.

Vasu concluded by emphasizing the long-standing friendship between China and Fiji and the positive contributions of the Chinese community to Fiji's development and cultural diversity.
