China Punishes Key "Taiwan Independence" Figures and Organization
The State Council Taiwan Affairs Office announced punishment measures on Shen Pao-yang, Robert Hsing-cheng Tsao, and Kuma Academy for promoting "Taiwan independence."
Shen and Tsao have been actively involved in organizing activities and providing financial support for the academy, which openly fosters violent "Taiwan independence" individuals and engages in separatist activities.
These individuals and the organization have been included in the list of die-hard "Taiwan independence" separatists and face various sanctions, including travel restrictions, business limitations, and potential criminal punishments.
China emphasizes its strong stance against "Taiwan independence" and warns of severe consequences for those who engage in such activities. The statement encourages Taiwan compatriots to distance themselves from these individuals and the academy, and instead promote cross-Straits cooperation and reunification.
