OCBC Internet Banking and Mobile App Services Restored After Brief Disruption
OCBC's internet banking and mobile app services have returned to normal after experiencing a brief disruption on Saturday afternoon (September 28th). The bank confirmed in a Facebook reply at 7:04pm that its "app and internet banking are already displaying transactions and balances completely."
Earlier in the day, numerous complaints were posted on HardwareZone Forum and OCBC's Facebook page, with users reporting that the app and internet banking were "down" and they were unable to log in. OCBC acknowledged the issue in a Facebook reply at 5:03pm, stating that some users were having difficulties viewing balances and transaction history.
"We are sorry for the inconvenience and are working to restore this as soon as possible," the bank said.
It is important to note that PayNow, OCBC cards, and ATM transactions were not impacted by the disruption. This is the second time in September that OCBC users have experienced disruption to their internet and mobile banking services.
