A tragic accident occurred on Saturday evening near Dwarka in Gujarat, claiming the lives of seven individuals, including four children. The incident involved a bus, a minivan, a car, and a motorcycle.
The bus, traveling from Dwarka to Ahmedabad, jumped the road divider in an attempt to avoid hitting cattle on the road. This resulted in a collision with the three oncoming vehicles.
Six of the deceased were passengers in the minivan, which was on its way from Gandhinagar to Dwarka. The remaining victim was a passenger on the bus. The minivan was only a few kilometers from its destination when the accident occurred.
The deceased have been identified as Hetalben Thakor (25), Tanya (2), Riyansh (3), Vishan (7), Priyanshi (13), Bhavnaben Thakor (35), and Chirag Ranabhai (25). Six of them were from Kalol in Gandhinagar, while one was from Dwarka.
In addition to the fatalities, 14 individuals sustained injuries in the accident. The injured were transported to nearby hospitals for medical attention.
The accident has left the local community in shock and mourning. The cause of the accident is under investigation.
