India's Strong Message to Pakistan at the UN General Assembly

In a powerful address at the 79th United Nations General Assembly, India's External Affairs Minister, S Jaishankar, delivered a strongly-worded message to Pakistan, condemning its decades-long policy of terrorism and its disastrous consequences.

Jaishankar highlighted the detrimental impact of Pakistan's actions, stating that "Pakistan's policy of cross-border terrorism can and will never succeed." He emphasized that Pakistan's choices have led to its own downfall, leaving it in its worst economic crisis since its formation.

The minister pointed out that Pakistan's misguided policies have not only harmed itself but also destabilized the region. He remarked, "When this polity instils such fanaticism among its people, its GDP can only be measured in terms of radicalisation and its exports in the form of terrorism."

Jaishankar further criticized Pakistan's attempts to blame others for its self-inflicted problems, stating, "It can't blame the world; this is only karma." He emphasized the need to expose and counter Pakistan's dysfunctional state and its covetous intentions towards other nations.

In a clear and firm message, Jaishankar concluded, "Pakistan's cross-border terrorism policy will never succeed. And it can have no expectation of impunity. Actions will certainly have consequences." He reiterated India's demand for the vacation of illegally occupied Indian territory by Pakistan and the abandonment of its long-standing association with terrorism.

This strong statement from India at the UN General Assembly serves as a clear warning to Pakistan and a reminder of the consequences it faces for its continued support of terrorism. It also underscores India's unwavering commitment to protecting its sovereignty and security.
