In the early hours of Saturday morning, two law enforcement officers from Georgia sustained injuries during a confrontation with a suspected burglar at the Adventure Outdoors gun store. Responding to a 911 call made just after midnight, officers from Smyrna and Cobb County arrived at the scene, where they found an armed individual inside the closed store.

Upon their arrival, gunfire was exchanged between the officers and the suspected burglar, leading to the fatal shooting of the suspect, whose identity remains unknown. The injured officers were promptly taken to a local hospital and are currently recovering from their non-life-threatening wounds.
