On Wednesday morning, a 10-year-old student attending the Shenzhen Japanese School was attacked and stabbed by a man located about 200 meters from the school's premises. The incident occurred in the Zhaoshang community of Nanshan District around 8 am, and the student was quickly transported to the hospital for emergency medical care.

In a press briefing, Lin Jian, a spokesperson for the Chinese Foreign Ministry, confirmed the stabbing and mentioned that the attacker had been detained at the scene. The local police, upon receiving a report of the assault, dispatched officers to handle the situation and took the necessary steps to ensure the student received medical attention. The investigation into the stabbing is ongoing, and authorities are focused on both the case and the victim's recovery.
