On Wednesday morning, a 10-year-old student attending the Shenzhen Japanese School was attacked and stabbed by a man located about 200 meters from the school's premises. The incident occurred in the Zhaoshang community of Nanshan District around 8 am, and the student was quickly transported to the hospital for emergency medical care.
In a press briefing, Lin Jian, a spokesperson for the Chinese Foreign Ministry, confirmed the stabbing and mentioned that the attacker had been detained at the scene. The local police, upon receiving a report of the assault, dispatched officers to handle the situation and took the necessary steps to ensure the student received medical attention.
