Trump Challenges Biden to Debate and Golf Match
At a recent rally in Miami, Florida, former President Donald Trump challenged President Joe Biden to another debate and a golf match. Trump claimed the debate would be "bigger than the Ryder Cup or even the Masters" and that he would give Biden 10 strokes in the golf match.
Trump criticized Biden's performance in their first debate, calling it "the most decisive and overwhelming defeat in the history of presidential debates." He also challenged Biden to a rematch, saying, "Let's do another debate this week so that sleepy Joe Biden can prove to everyone all over the world that he has what it takes to be president."
Trump also challenged Biden to a golf match, saying it would be "among the most watched sporting events in history." He offered to give Biden 10 strokes and donate $1 million to a charity of Biden's choice if he won.
Biden campaign spokesperson James Singer responded by saying that Biden "doesn't have time for Trump's weird antics" and is "busy leading America and defending the free world."
The challenge comes as Trump faces pressure from within his own party to name his vice presidential pick. The Republican National Convention is scheduled for July 14th.
