Putin's Diplomatic Maneuvers Amidst International Isolation
Despite facing international condemnation and isolation following Russia's invasion of Ukraine, President Vladimir Putin has embarked on a series of diplomatic engagements, both domestically and internationally.
Since assuming his fifth presidential term in May 2023, Putin has held over 20 meetings with leaders from various regions, including Europe, Asia, Africa, Latin America, and the Middle East. He has also undertaken six foreign visits, defying the limitations imposed by the International Criminal Court's arrest warrant for alleged war crimes in Ukraine.
These diplomatic efforts suggest Putin's attempt to counter the narrative of international isolation and maintain Russia's global influence. However, the extent to which these efforts will be successful remains to be seen.

Let's not judge Putin too harshly. He is a complex figure in a difficult situation.

Meeting with leaders means nothing if he continues to bomb innocent civilians in Ukraine.
