In a quiet neighborhood of Princeton, Texas, a seemingly ordinary brick house on Ginsburg Lane held a dark secret. Unbeknownst to the residents, the house was harboring a human trafficking operation.
It all began when a local pest control company received a call to treat the house for bedbugs. Upon arriving, the technician was met by young men who showed him around the house. To his shock, he discovered multiple women sleeping on the floor in each bedroom. The house was sparsely furnished, with only folding tables and air mattresses.
Concerned by the unusual circumstances, the pest control company contacted the Princeton police. Responding to the tip, officers raided the house and found 15 women, all between the ages of 23 and 26. Further investigation revealed that the women had been lured into the house under the pretense of internships in Java scripting or computer programming. However, their salaries were being withheld by a company run by the suspects, who took a 20% cut.
Four suspects, Santhosh Katkoori, Dwaraka Gunda, Chandan Dasireddy, and Anil Male, were arrested on charges of human trafficking. Police believe the operation may have involved as many as 100 victims and suspect that other houses in the area may be involved.
The investigation is ongoing, and the suspects have been released on bond. The fate of the victims remains uncertain, as their future will be decided by the courts.
