A new poll conducted by the AP-NORC Center for Public Affairs Research revealed that Americans are divided over whether President Trump and Hunter Biden should face prison time following their respective convictions.

Regarding President Trump, 48% of adults believe he should be imprisoned after being found guilty of falsifying business records, while 50% believe he should not. The poll also found that 80% of Democrats and 49% of independents believe Trump should be imprisoned, compared to only 10% of Republicans.

In regards to Hunter Biden, 60% of Americans approve of his conviction for lying about drug use when purchasing a gun. Additionally, 60% believe he should be sentenced to prison time. Interestingly, there is less of a partisan divide on this issue, with 60% of Democrats and 70% of Republicans agreeing that prison time is warranted.
