Most pollsters indicate that the Conservatives are lagging behind Labour by approximately 20 percentage points. Sir Keir Starmer's Labour party is consistently polling in the mid-40s, while the Conservatives are struggling to maintain a foothold in the low-20s. A YouGov poll conducted on June 5th placed Rishi Sunak's party at 19 percent.
Following Nigel Farage's announcement that he would be running for the Clacton seat and assuming leadership of Reform UK, the party has gained significant ground. According to YouGov, Reform UK is now within two points of the governing party.
