Diksha Dagar, a prominent Indian golfer, is on the verge of making her 100th start on the Ladies European Tour (LET) at the Aramco Team Series Korea, a significant milestone in her career. The 23-year-old athlete has already achieved two victories and secured 16 Top-10 finishes since turning professional in 2019, establishing herself as a force to be reckoned with in the golfing world. Notably, Diksha holds the ninth position on the LET Order of Merit, showcasing her consistent performance and competitiveness in the sport.
In addition to Diksha Dagar, two other Indian golfers, Pranavi Urs and Vani Kapoor, will be part of the field at the Aramco Team Series Korea as rookies. Diksha will be leading a team comprising Czech player Tereza Melecka and Korean athlete Do Yeon Park, while Pranavi and Vani will be in a team led by Singaporean golfer Shannon Tan, who triumphed in Kenya earlier in the season. Diksha's previous accomplishments include being on the winning team at the Aramco Team Series in London in 2021 and achieving her best individual result of T-6 in Tampa, Florida this year.
Reflecting on her upcoming participation in the Olympics and her career aspirations, Diksha expressed her pride in representing India and her determination to excel in the LET, where she aims to further elevate her performance and potentially transition to the LPGA Tour in the United States. Last season, Diksha clinched victory at the Tipsport Czech Ladies Open, secured a T-3 finish at the Amundi German Masters and Hero Indian Open, and claimed third place in the Order of Merit. She has garnered numerous Top-10 finishes, both individually and in team events, underscoring her versatility and skill on the golf course.
