Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has dismissed several high-ranking officials, including his top aide Serhiy Shefir and three advisers. The dismissals are part of an ongoing personnel shakeup that has seen the removal of key figures in recent months.

Russia has intensified its attacks on Ukraine, launching drones and missiles overnight. The Ukrainian air force reported shooting down nine of 12 Shahed drones and intercepting four missiles. The armed forces also reported a barrage of 38 missiles, 75 air strikes, and 98 attacks from multiple rocket launchers within the past 24 hours.

The Russian shelling has caused significant damage to Ukrainian energy infrastructure. The Zmiiv Thermal Power Plant in the Kharkiv region has been completely destroyed, leaving around 120,000 people without power. Officials in the Poltava region have reported "several hits" to an infrastructure facility, but have not specified its nature.

The toll from Friday's mass barrage of drones and missiles has emerged, with one civilian killed in the Kherson region and another dying in a hospital in the Dnipropetrovsk region.
