Tyler Blevins, the renowned video game streamer known as Ninja, has disclosed his recent diagnosis of skin cancer. During an annual skin examination, a mole on the bottom of his foot was identified as melanoma. While the news came as a shock, Blevins expressed optimism that the cancer was detected early.
A second suspicious spot near the mole has also been biopsied, and doctors have removed a larger area around the melanoma to ensure clear margins. Blevins emphasized the importance of regular skin checkups, urging his followers to prioritize their skin health.
Blevins, a prominent figure in the esports and gaming industry, has amassed a massive following of 19 million on Twitch. His popularity extends beyond the gaming community, with appearances on television shows such as "The Masked Singer."
After leaving Twitch for Microsoft's Mixer platform in 2019, Blevins returned to Twitch in 2020 following Mixer's closure.
