From April 1 to July 31, a special law enforcement campaign will be conducted along the Yellow River in nine provincial regions. This campaign aims to enforce the fishing ban and protect the ecological environment.
During the campaign, relevant departments will intensify law enforcement efforts, including cracking down on illegal fishing activities, implementing segmented control measures, and increasing inspections for serious offenses such as using unregistered fishing vessels or electric shock fishing.
Supervision of seafood markets will be strengthened to uncover sources of illegal aquatic products. Additionally, fishing activities will be closely monitored to prevent the use of harmful tools and methods, and to curb illegal fishing operations disguised as recreational fishing.
The campaign is expected to promote the implementation of the fishing ban and enhance the protection of the Yellow River Basin's ecological environment.
