Chinese Premier Li Qiang has emphasized the importance of ensuring a stable supply of grains and essential agricultural products. He instructed local governments to prioritize spring agricultural production and provide necessary support to farmers. Li stressed the need for adequate supply of agricultural materials to facilitate a successful harvest.

At a national conference on spring agricultural production and disaster prevention, Vice-Premier Liu Guozhong outlined measures to enhance grain and oil yields. He encouraged the adoption of advanced technologies and the development of high-quality farmland. Liu also emphasized the importance of monitoring disaster risks and strengthening emergency preparedness to minimize the impact of natural disasters on agricultural output.

Prior to the conference, Liu visited Xingtai in Hebei province to assess the restoration of damaged agricultural infrastructure and the growth of wheat crops.
